Matches to be played on Sundays.
Raised oche and good standard Matchboard at all venues.
Matches best of 7 games, consisting of one team game of 1001 1 leg, two doubles of 601 best of 3, and four singles of 501 best of 5.
Minimum number of players to fulfill a fixture is four, completing all games. Teams without 4 players will forfeit game 7-0 and the other team will get 7 points.
Bust rule applies in all games.
Team game to be on board by 20.10, match to start 20.15.
All names to be drawn out by captain, home team draws their names first, on a game by game basis, i.e. team game first (1x1001), followed by two doubles (3x601), and four singles (5x501).
Home team chalk.
The first throw of each game is decided by the two players whose names appear first throwing for the bullseye. Away team throw first for the bull, closest player starts the leg.
When an agreement is reached by the two captains that a player can leave early, it is up to the captain to put that player on first as games must be played in order.
Results to be sent on the night by text to 07810723886, listing the result, 180's, high finishes and a brief summary of match. 180's and highest finishes can be registered on results sheet, which must be completed by both captains and sent direct to the address on the sheet.
Any result sheets not forwarded to the address on cars or handed in personally to a commitee memeber before the following sat after the sunday game Will reuslt in 2 point deduction. No Exceptions.
Any matches that are unable to be fulfilled must be notified to the opposition pub and captain 24 hours before the match. If a team cancels on the day, a £20 fine will be imposed payable to the league to cover food costs for the pub and admin. All games must be played on the set date unless agreed by rhe 2 captains otherwise. There is no spare weeks to play games.
The points system will be as follows; whatever the match score is the points your team gets for a win; i.e 7-0 is 7 points and 4-3 is 4 points to winners and 3 to losers.
League table will be based on points won during the season. If tied in any position the team who has won more matches will be the higher position, if still tied a one-off game between the teams will decide the league at a neutral venue decided by the league.
If any team withdraws from the league the following will happen. If they have completed half the season,i.e, played eveyone once, those results and 180s/finishes will count.If they withdraw before the halfway stage, all points/180s/finishes will be withdrawn.If they withdraw at some point into the 2nd half of season, all results upto the halfway stage will count,but then thus after will be withdrawn.
The fee for joining the league is £25 per team.And once paid is non-refundable.
To enter any league run competion during or at the end of the season players must have played at least 50% of matches.All Knockouts will be £5 per person with a % going to winners & runners up and a % going into the league.
Players can only play for one team during the season, and can register and play on the night. However, if for example a div1 side folds, a player may join a div2 side, and vice versa. If a pub closes the team may choose to play there remianing games at another pub, providing the dart set up is deemed adequate by the committe..
Any individual player, or team, that uses threatening or abusive behaviour, or in any way by actions or words upsets another player or team, to the extent that they feel uncomfortable enough to withdraw from the match, will be investigated thoroughly,and the outcome could result in the said player or team being expelled from the league.
The league will not accept any behaviour that is deemed unruly, threatening or violent and will take neccessary action when needed.
In any decisions, the committee will vote, but the should it be tied, the Chairman's decision is final.
